Here's what Ridge Runner owners have to say

Check out some of their "Color Choices"

We went up to Bryce Canyon after attending a wedding in Las Vegas. I thought Bryce may be good as Ann could see the canyon and not just go along on one of my buggy rides.  We rode the Freemont ATV trail from Bryce Canyon to Panguitch and I took some pics and posted some on the ATVUtah website.   If your interested:

Jim - Utah: Out in the rough.

Charles - California: Now that the break is over, I'm really ready to go. This particular run was with my club, the East Bay Hi-Tailers. Most of their 'rails' (buggies) are based on VWs and weigh about 1500 lbs.

While we camped on the western shore of the Winnemucca (dry) Lake, Nevada, most of our running was in or around the Nightingale Mountains along the eastern side of the lakebed.

After working our way around to the north end of the Nightingales, we went straight up the end of the ridge for my first real hill climbing test. I made it! This put us on the high power like road and we really go moving (about 40-45 MPH). Then I was surprised by a whoop-de-doo! And whoops it was! I got all four wheels about 3 inches off the road for about ten feet. Oh! That was kind of neat!

The next day we headed for a very soft sand/dirt hill climb where none of us have ever gotten clear to the top. I did two tries and got higher than last year (with my Honda Pilot). Only one other 'rail' tried it and he didn't get as high as the Ridge Runner even with his V8 power!. So I don't feel too bad even though I had expected to make it all the way.

Then we sped down a sandy dry wash with sand banks that allowed us to do banked turns through the 'esses' for a couple of miles. Great run! Going back to the trails up to some mine ruins put us through some tricky (even challenging) sections, but the Ridge Runner eased right through.

All in all, a great run for the Ridge Runner as it really works good in and over tricky spots. The light weight and high clearance really got through and over the rocks. The fact that I can see exactly where I put the wheels really helps. The fact that I've been trail running for 38 years probably helped also.

Frank: Having fun in the sand.

Steve: Getting ready to go.

Greg, Monica, and Family - Idaho: When I got home that day I logged on to the web site. WOW this thing was COOL. It looked like something I could ride in the mountains and not 3 or 4 trips to the dunes a summer. By the way, the description on the web site is right on. Now here's where I'm probably different then most people, after I told my wife I appositely had to have one and then got on my knees and begged her. I called Ridge Runner and spoke to Dan Denny and said I wanted to buy one when could he deliver it. I had not even rode, drove or seen one in person. I don't think I even thought about that until weeks later. Dan & Charles show up at my house.

What I am about to tell you is how I personally feel about the Ridge Runner and it's the truth. I have over 1600 miles on mine, yes mine, because after I got mine my wife Monica wanted to go for a ride to see what we'd spent our money on. After her second ride she bought one!! The RIDGE RUNNER just simply blows every person away with it's ride. I tell people it's like riding in a Cadillac and feeling like you're in a Ferrari; it still blow's me at 1600 miles plus its QUIET. You can talk to each other without raising your voice. In fact it's so quiet that it's rare that we don't see deer up close. Look at the seats; they're very comfortable. You can stretch out your leg's and I'm 6'2".

The name even fits because I often end up riding the ridges It'll simply go anywhere. The thing's that we do now that we have Ridge Runners. We go on fun dates that we both enjoy or take anther couple--guys on one girls on the other. It has a large cargo rack on the back so packing a big tent, cooler, sleeping bags, and all your gear is no problem. No need to back extra gas--one tank will go over 120 miles. I have a lab that loves to ride on the cargo deck. As far as I'm concerned it's the most awesome thing on this planet!

Lynn - Nevada: Got to try out my RR over the weekend. Simply awesome! The suspension is incredible--soaks up everything. The ability to travel quickly over rough terrain is hard to believe. I doubt you have had many people push the Ridge Runner as hard as I have. My son agrees that it is faster than his Raptor over most terrain. The machine is truly incredible. Simply soaks up most bumps and instills a high sense of safety. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Patrick's new Ridge Runner is a pretty metallic blue with chrome silver accents.

George - California: I've been traveling down to Baja for over 30 years exploring the wilderness backcountry and beaches there. Now finally there is a perfect rig to go exploring away from base came. The Ridge Runner will go everywhere, is very dependable, gets good gas mileage, and has a good distance range. I can carry my gear and a passenger to beachcombing or exploring without having to break base camp every time.

"What a machine! The Ridge Runner is creating quite a stir down here in Arizona .  People can’t believe where I can get this thing into.   I can’t believe the ride the power the comfort.  I point it in any given direction and it just goes.  My wife likes the safety factor of riding in a protected roll cage unlike a conventional ATV.  We can strap on our camping gear and with the great fuel economy get to some remote places.  It is just what I have been looking for, in fact I didn’t even have to test drive it before I bought one, I knew from reading about it that the Ridge Runner would fill all the requirements that I had.  The only problem that has come up is the we only have one.  Looks like next year we are going to have to get another, my family and kids want to drive it all the time."

I had a stroke about 5 years ago and I’m paralyzed on the left side and it is hard to get around, we decided to buy a quad so we could go ride in the mountains, trying to hang on to the quad with one hand was very hard. then I saw your ad on the Internet and knew the ridge runner was for me, there has not been a hill I have not been able to climb or rocks I can’t go over. we are going to glamis next week and it should do just fine, since I just bought some paddle tires from you, thanks for giving me my freedom back, when I get to the top of the highest mountain, it make me feel great, all my friends and relatives are amazed that I can drive it

thanks again

p.s. (hope I can talk my wife in to buying an other one)
